Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' continues its impressive run, nearing a ₹500 crore gross in India after 12 days. The film has shown strong performance despite a slowdown on its second Monday.

The latest Marvel cinematic offering, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', is on the verge of achieving a significant milestone at the Indian box office, rapidly approaching the ₹500 crore gross mark. As of its 12th day, the Tom Holland-starrer has amassed approximately ₹497.09 crore gross and ₹415.64 crore net across India, according to industry trackers.

Despite an expected deceleration in collections during its second Monday, the superhero film's overall performance remains robust. It is poised to become the fourth Hollywood film in 2026 to join the global billion-dollar club, following 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie', 'Michael', and 'Toy Story 5'.

Strong Second Weekend Boosts Collections

The film experienced a massive second weekend, significantly contributing to its cumulative earnings. It collected ₹15 crore on its second Friday, followed by an impressive ₹31 crore on Saturday, and a solid ₹34.70 crore on Sunday. The Day 12 net collection was around ₹0.06 crore, with final figures still being updated.

First Week's Phenomenal Start

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' opened with an astounding ₹60.60 crore on Day 1 in India. Its momentum surged through the opening weekend, securing ₹49.35 crore on Friday, ₹70.25 crore on Saturday, and a staggering ₹77.75 crore on Sunday. By the end of its first week, the film had already accumulated approximately ₹334.75 crore net in India, setting a strong foundation for its continued success.

Language Contributions to Total Gross

The film's success in India is diversified across multiple languages. The English version has been the primary contributor, accounting for approximately ₹228.04 crore net. The Hindi version followed with around ₹148.67 crore. Regional language versions also added substantial figures, with Tamil contributing about ₹22.20 crore and Telugu adding approximately ₹15.80 crore to the total net collection.
