Bengaluru, India – DriveU, a leading mobility platform, has announced its third consecutive year of profitability, reporting a substantial 109% year-over-year surge in net profit to ₹3.60 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26. This milestone is underpinned by robust financial growth and strategic expansion into new service offerings.
The company's financial performance in FY26 also saw a 284% jump in operating cash flow, reaching ₹4.03 crore, and a 17% expansion in Net Transaction Value (NTV) to ₹131 crore. Net revenue increased by 14% to ₹32.87 crore, while EBITDA expanded by 58% to ₹2.74 crore, demonstrating increased operating leverage as total operating expenses grew moderately at 10%.
Strategic Expansion with New Verticals
DriveU's growth has been entirely self-funded through internal accruals since its last external capital raise in 2024, with its net worth rising 26% to ₹17.31 crore. The strong internal cash generation enabled the incubation of two new business verticals:
- DriveU Reserve: Launched in April 2026, this premium chauffeur-driven cab service caters to pre-booked airport transfers, outstation travel, corporate trips, and multi-day rentals. Available across 11 cities, Reserve has completed nearly 1,000 transactions since its launch, with 60% of bookings from existing DriveU users and 15% from international travelers.
- DriveU Coach: Introduced in July 2026, DriveU Coach offers personalized, at-home driving instruction using the learner’s own vehicle. Leveraging DriveU’s network of vetted driver-partners, many of whom are experienced instructors, this service operates in seven metropolitan cities with over 1,300 active coaches and has completed more than 5,000 sessions to date with minimal customer acquisition costs.
CEO Highlights Customer Trust and Future Outlook
Rahm Shastry, Co-Founder and CEO of DriveU, attributed the sustained success to consistent service quality and customer trust. "Our expansion this fiscal year was largely driven by existing customers increasing their frequency and reliance on our platform," Shastry stated. He added, "We disciplined our cost structure early on to ensure our core business could sustain itself organically. FY26 demonstrated the strength of that model. Strong cash flow enabled us to incubate and scale two new business verticals entirely through internal accruals."
During FY26, customers utilized over 5 million hours of driver-partner time across more than 2 million trips. Looking ahead, DriveU projects its NTV to reach ₹170 crore in FY27 as it continues to scale these new offerings and solidify its position in the Indian mobility market.
