The B2B jewellery player, Deepa Jewellers, is set to make its stock market debut today. The company successfully raised Rs 460 crore through its IPO, which was priced at Rs 177 per share with a lot size of 84 equity shares. The IPO, open from September 1-3, was significantly oversubscribed by 42.61 times, attracting nearly 19.75 lakh applications.
Rays of Belief
Another company embarking on its stock market journey today is Rays of Belief, a for-profit social enterprise. Its IPO raised Rs 125 crore, with shares sold at Rs 239 apiece and a lot size of 62 equity shares. The issue garnered robust investor interest, being booked 107.71 times and receiving over 15.56 lakh applications.
Adani Power
Adani Group's utility arm, Adani Power, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Resolution Professional for the acquisition of GVK Energy. This acquisition, to be executed through its subsidiary Alaknanda Hydro Power Company, includes a 330 MW hydroelectric power plant located in Uttarakhand.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)
The state-run insurance giant, LIC, reported a substantial 45.3% year-on-year jump in its new business premium for August 2026, reaching Rs 23,275 crore. Its year-to-date (YTD) premium also saw a healthy increase of 22.31% year-on-year, totaling Rs 80,005 crore.
Swiggy
Swiggy Networks, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the online food ordering and quick commerce platform Swiggy, plans to sell its entire stake in Lynks Logistics to Singapore-based Trustroot Internet for approximately $52.4 million. The transaction, involving 166,534 Series R compulsorily convertible preference shares, is anticipated to conclude by October 22, pending agreed conditions.

State-owned finance company REC has made a significant move by successfully completing India’s first pilot issue of tokenized corporate bonds. This initiative, carried out under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Regulatory Sandbox Framework, raised approximately Rs 500 crore.
Shiprocket
The recently listed logistics solutions provider, Shiprocket, reported a narrowed net loss of Rs 13.7 crore for the June 2026 quarter.
