Client Base Expands to 3.90 Crore
The company's client base surged by 18.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.90 crore clients in July 2026, compared to 3.30 crore in the same month last year. This growth was supported by 4.7 lakh gross client acquisitions during July, a slight increase from 4.5 lakh in June, though lower than the 6.4 lakh acquisitions recorded in the year-ago month.
Funding Book Nears ₹7,100 Crore Mark
Angel One's average client funding book demonstrated strong performance, standing at ₹7,081 crore for the quarter. This represents a substantial 39.4% increase over the ₹5,079 crore recorded in July of the previous year. Sequentially, the funding book also grew by 4.4% from ₹6,783 crore in June 2026, highlighting consistent financial expansion.
Market Share and Order Volumes
The brokerage firm maintained a strong presence in the futures & options (F&O) segment, with its retail turnover market share (based on options premium turnover) at 22.2%. This marks a 6 basis point improvement quarter-on-quarter and a significant 98 basis point rise year-on-year.
- Cash Turnover Market Share: Decreased by 143 basis points year-on-year to 17.1% (from 18.6%), but showed a slight improvement of 25 basis points over June's 16.9%.
- Commodity Turnover Market Share: Stood at 48% for the month, experiencing a notable decline.
Regarding trading activity, the total number of orders processed by Angel One rose by 9.5% year-on-year to 13.46 crore, despite a 3.8% quarter-on-quarter decrease. The average daily orders reached 58.6 lakhs, indicating sustained engagement from its growing client base.
