Indian citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates will experience a significant shift in how they access passport, visa, and other consular services beginning July 1, 2026. The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have announced that Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC will become the new outsourced service provider for these crucial applications.
This new arrangement follows a comprehensive tendering and selection process and will replace the current providers, BLS International Services Ltd. and SGIVS Global. Applicants are advised that BLS International and SGIVS Global will continue to accept and process applications until June 30, 2026.
New Provider for Passport, Visa, and Consular Services
From July 1, 2026, all new applications for Indian passports, visas, and other consular services will be handled through designated centers operated by Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC. This transition aims to streamline the application process for the large Indian diaspora in the UAE.
The scope of services covered under this new system includes a wide range of essential functions, ensuring that all aspects of passport, visa issuance, and general consular assistance are managed efficiently by the appointed firm.
