Raymond Shares Surge Over 80% in a Month Amid Demerger, Aerospace Expansion

· · 2 min read

Raymond Ltd. shares have climbed over 80% in the last month, reaching a record high. Analysts attribute this surge to the company's recent demerger and its expansion into the aerospace manufacturing sector.

Shares of Raymond Ltd. have experienced an exceptional rally, soaring over 80% in the past month and hitting a new record high of Rs 1,195.30 on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. This impressive performance has also seen the stock gain more than 230% over the last six months.

Demerger and Strategic Shifts Fuel Growth

Market observers point to the recent demerger of Raymond's businesses into distinct listed entities as a primary catalyst for the stock's upward trajectory. Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services, highlighted that the restructuring provides greater clarity on the performance and valuation of individual businesses, which was previously obscured. This clarity has led investors to reassess the standalone entities, driving increased trading activity and buying interest across the Raymond Group.

Furthermore, Raymond's strategic pivot into high-growth sectors has garnered investor confidence. Kranthi Bathini, Equity Strategist at WealthMills Securities, noted the company's expansion of its precision engineering division into aerospace manufacturing. This move positions Raymond within one of India's burgeoning sunrise sectors, promising a robust order book and strong earnings visibility for the medium to long term.

Regulatory Scrutiny and Technical Outlook

Amidst the significant price movements, both the BSE and NSE have placed Raymond under the short-term Additional Surveillance Measure (ASM) framework. This regulatory step is designed to alert investors to unusual price activity and heightened volatility, signaling a need for caution.

From a technical standpoint, Osho Krishan, Chief Manager – Technical & Derivative Research at Angel One, observed that while momentum remains strong, Raymond shares have entered an extremely overbought zone. This creates an unfavorable risk-reward profile at current levels. Krishan suggested that the Rs 1,000–970 range could offer intermediate support, advising traders to use trailing stop-loss orders to protect gains.

Raymond Realty Also Sees Gains

Another group company, Raymond Realty Ltd., also saw a positive trend, trading higher and recording a 60.21% gain over the past six months. Analysts view Raymond Realty's strong Q1 order book positively, suggesting potential for long-term holding, with recommendations to consider buying on dips.
