Technical Analysis Points to Key Levels
According to Virat Jagad, Senior Technical Research Analyst at Bonanza, RIL is currently compressing within a classic 'Falling Wedge' pattern, hovering near its lower support level of ₹1,153.9. Jagad notes that the price action remains below key Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), with the 20 EMA at ₹1,191.6, alongside a weak Relative Strength Index (RSI) of 39.66 and low trading volume (3.68M shares today).
"A decisive close above ₹1,192–₹1,200 with volume expansion confirms a bullish reversal targeting ₹1,254.3 and ₹1,346.4, while a breakdown below ₹1,150 invalidates the setup," Jagad explained, outlining critical price points for traders.
With Q2 earnings on the horizon, market participants will be watching closely to see if the upcoming results can provide a catalyst for a reversal or if the downward momentum will continue.
