Stock Picks: Cyient, J&K Bank, Suzlon Energy Key Levels & Analyst Targets

· · 3 min read

An analyst from Mirae Asset Sharekhan has provided key trading levels, targets, and stop losses for Cyient, J&K Bank, and Suzlon Energy for an upcoming session. Cyient shows bullish momentum, while J&K Bank faces a negative outlook. Suzlon Energy is expected to consolidate.

Indian equity markets recently experienced a downturn, influenced by weak global cues, rising crude oil prices, and ongoing concerns in West Asia. Amidst this volatility, Muthuselvaraj M, a Research Analyst at Mirae Asset Sharekhan, has offered specific insights into the trading prospects of three prominent stocks for an upcoming trading session: Cyient, Jammu & Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank), and Suzlon Energy.

Cyient: Bullish Momentum Anticipated

According to the analyst, Cyient Ltd. is currently exhibiting a higher top, higher bottom pattern on its daily chart. This technical indicator, coupled with the stock breaking above its previous swing high, signals potential bullish momentum for traders. The price is well-supported by crucial moving averages, and momentum indicators remain positive.

  • Recommendation: Buy
  • Target Price: Rs 1,300-1,345
  • Stop Loss: Rs 1,200
  • Major Support: Rs 1,220-1,180 (short to medium term)

The analyst anticipates a rally towards the specified target range, with strong support levels established below.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank: Exercise Caution

J&K Bank presents a contrasting picture, displaying a 'lower top, lower bottom' pattern on its daily timeframe, which points to a negative outlook. The stock may continue to drift towards its support zone.

  • Recommendation: Caution
  • Resistance: Rs 137
  • Support: Rs 106-97

A potential pullback towards Rs 145-149 could be triggered if the stock moves above its 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at Rs 137. However, given the negative momentum indicators, buying is advised only if the stock surpasses the Rs 135-137 mark. Short-term support is noted at Rs 106. Overall, the stock is expected to trade negatively in the near to short term.

Suzlon Energy: Consolidation Expected

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at a base level, forming a falling channel on its daily timeframe. The price is positioned below all short-term exponentials, indicating a lack of significant momentum. Momentum indicators also show sideways movement at lower levels, suggesting a period of consolidation.

  • Recommendation: Range-bound
  • Support: Rs 36

The outlook for Suzlon is consolidation at its current base for the short term. A break below the key support area of Rs 36 could potentially lead to a further decline. The stock is generally expected to remain in a consolidation phase at lower levels in the near and short term.
