· · 3 min read

Google's Pixel 11 series is expected to launch in August 2026, featuring four models including a foldable. Early reports suggest pricing in India will start around Rs 79,990, powered by the new Tensor G6 chip.

Reports indicate that Google is gearing up to unveil its next generation of smartphones, the Pixel 11 series, in August 2026. While official announcements are pending, leaked details suggest a lineup of four distinct models: the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

Expected Launch Date and India Pricing

Following a pattern of summer launch events, the Google Pixel 11 series is widely anticipated to debut in August 2026. This aligns with previous Pixel series launches, establishing a consistent release window for the tech giant's flagship devices.

Regarding pricing in India, preliminary estimates suggest the 256GB variant of the Pixel 11 could range from Rs 79,990 to Rs 84,999. The Pixel 11 Pro is projected to cost around Rs 1,03,999, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL might be priced at approximately Rs 1,19,999. The premium Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Google's foldable offering, is expected to carry a price tag of about Rs 1,72,999, maintaining a similar price point to its predecessor.

Design and Display Innovations

The Pixel 11 series is expected to retain a design language similar to earlier Pixel models, though a subtle refresh of the camera module is anticipated. Rumors also point to a potential new 'Pixel Glow' lighting system, possibly extending behind the camera bar, though specifics remain unclear.

  • Pixel 11: Features an estimated 6.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Pixel 11 Pro: Also expected to have a 6.3-inch display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Pixel 11 Pro XL: Will likely boast a larger 6.8-inch display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Projected to include a 6.3-inch cover display and an expansive 8-inch inner display, both with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance and Battery Life

At the heart of the Pixel 11 series will be Google's in-house Tensor G6 chip, reportedly built on TSMC’s advanced N2 (2nm) node process. This new chip is expected to integrate the Titan M3 security chip, an upgraded Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), and a brand-new GXP imaging coprocessor for enhanced performance across the board.

  • RAM Configurations: The Pixel 11 is expected to offer 8GB and 12GB RAM options, while the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models could feature 12GB and 16GB RAM.
  • Battery Capacities: The Pixel 11 is anticipated to house a 4840 mAh battery. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are expected to come with 4707mAh and 5000mAh batteries, respectively. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumored to be equipped with a 4658mAh battery.

Camera Capabilities

While precise camera upgrades for the Pixel 11 series are not yet known, expectations are that the devices will maintain a 50MP primary camera sensor. Significant improvements are likely to come through software-based enhancements, leveraging Google's renowned computational photography. There is also speculation that Google may opt to remove the temperature sensor in favor of a new lighting system.
