Indian Army Launches Terrier Cyber Quest 2026
The Indian Army has officially opened registrations for the Terrier Cyber Quest 2026, a national cyber innovation challenge designed to identify and harness the country's top technological talent. Challenge Tracks and Participation
This year's edition features three specialized tracks, each designed to test participants across distinct technology domains:
- Bug Hunting: Participants will engage in identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities, demonstrating both offensive and defensive cybersecurity prowess.
- AI Kavach: Focused on artificial intelligence-driven security solutions, this track encourages innovations aimed at enhancing cyber defense capabilities.
- Creators Challenge: Tailored for communicators and digital creators, this category seeks novel approaches to raising public awareness about cybersecurity and national digital resilience.
The competition welcomes a diverse range of participants, including students, cybersecurity professionals, AI researchers, developers, drone specialists, data analysts, and content creators. Both individual participants and teams from academia, industry, and government organizations are encouraged to apply.
Registration and Grand Finale
Interested individuals and teams must complete their registrations by August 20. The initial phase involves an online shortlisting round, from which successful candidates will advance to the grand finale scheduled to take place in New Delhi.
Finalists will not only compete for attractive prizes and receive certificates but also gain invaluable opportunities to interact with senior Indian Army officers and government officials. Additionally, participants will have the unique chance to visit premier defense establishments, offering firsthand exposure to India's defense innovation ecosystem.
