Xiaomi's new Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone has launched, featuring a massive 7540mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Designed for power users, it promises over two days of battery life and goes on sale June 19, 2026, starting at Rs 37,999.

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Turbo 5, a new mid-range smartphone under its Redmi sub-brand. Positioned for power users, the device emphasizes seamless multitasking, gaming, and extended battery life, claiming over two days of usage on a single charge.

Unmatched Battery Life and Rapid Charging

A standout feature of the Redmi Turbo 5 is its substantial 7540mAh battery, which incorporates advanced 16% Silicon Carbon technology for enhanced longevity. The device supports 100W HyperCharge for rapid power replenishment and also offers 27W reverse charging, allowing it to power other gadgets.

Performance Engineered for Power Users

Under the hood, the Redmi Turbo 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. This is paired with up to LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth operation for demanding applications and games. To maintain optimal performance during extended sessions, the smartphone integrates a 3D IceLoop cooling system and Game Turbo Wild Boost optimizations for intelligent thermal management.

Stunning Display and Durable Design

The Redmi Turbo 5 boasts a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, offering up to 3,500 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate for fluid visuals. The display also supports Dolby Vision, 12-bit color depth with over 68 billion colors, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. Pricing and Availability in India

The Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 will be available in India starting June 19, 2026, at 12 PM. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 37,999, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs Rs 40,999. Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 2,000 discount on both configurations. Buyers can purchase the smartphone from Mi.com, Amazon.in, and Xiaomi Retail stores across India.
