Food delivery platform Zomato has introduced a new feature called 'Limitless Delivery,' significantly expanding its service radius. Users in seven major Indian cities can now order from participating restaurants located up to 40 kilometers from their delivery address. This initiative aims to connect customers with a wider array of culinary options across their respective cities.
The initial rollout of 'Limitless Delivery' is available in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, and Hyderabad. Zomato CEO Aditya Mangla stated that the feature is designed to help customers access their favorite restaurants, even when those establishments are not in close proximity.
How to Access Zomato's New Long-Distance Ordering
Accessing the 'Limitless Delivery' feature is straightforward for Zomato app users. A dedicated shortcut can be found under the 'Explore More' section on the app's homepage. Tapping this option will display the restaurants currently participating in the long-distance delivery program.
Alternatively, users can directly search for a specific restaurant within the app. The system will then indicate whether that restaurant offers delivery to their location via the new expanded service. It is important to note that while the feature supports up to 40 kilometers, availability depends on individual restaurant participation and logistical feasibility for the delivery partners.
