A Delhi court on Monday cleared former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment charges. The case stemmed from allegations made by six women wrestlers, including Olympic medallists and other prominent athletes, who accused Singh of sexual harassment during his tenure as WFI president. Singh consistently denied the allegations, asserting they were false.

"I said on the very first day that if the allegations are true, I will hang myself. I am very happy that I have been acquitted today.
