Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has secured a new luxury apartment on rent in the prestigious Pali Hill area of Mumbai. Property documents indicate the two-year lease for the Bandra West residence begins at a monthly rent of ₹6 lakh.
Lease Details and Property Specifications
The leave-and-license agreement, finalized with MS Union Land and Building Society Ltd, came into effect on May 27, 2026. For the first year, Zinta will pay ₹6 lakh per month, with the rent increasing to ₹6.5 lakh monthly for the second year. A security deposit of ₹27 lakh was also part of the deal, according to property documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
Located in the Art Veda building, the apartment spans 1,500 square feet and includes an additional 100 square feet designated for parking space, offering ample room and convenience in the prime Mumbai locality.
Recent Real Estate Transactions
This rental agreement follows a series of significant property transactions by the actor in the same upscale neighborhood. Earlier in 2026, Zinta sold an apartment in Pali Hill for ₹18.50 crore. This was preceded by another sale in November 2025, where she divested a 1,474 sq ft apartment in the Rustomjee Parishram building for over ₹14 crore. A subsequent transaction in March 2026 saw her sell a 1,770 sq ft apartment within the same Rustomjee Parishram complex.
These property sales were reportedly linked to a redevelopment agreement between the residential society and developer Keystone Realtors/Rustomjee, under which Zinta received permanent alternate accommodation.
Beyond Real Estate
Aside from her real estate dealings, Preity Zinta continues to be active in the entertainment and sports industries. She is slated to return to the big screen in 2026 with “Batwara 1947,” a period drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. The film, which also stars Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi, is set for an Independence Day weekend release. Zinta also maintains her strong connection to cricket as the co-owner of the Punjab Kings team in the Indian Premier League, regularly appearing at matches to support her franchise.
